About

our approach

We aim to strike a balance in our curriculum hence we employ the following approaches

montessori approach

  • Practical Life Experiences

    • Children learn to be independent in terms of self care and practical life tasks. Fine motor skills are also enhanced through the use of the practical life manipulatives

  • Sensorial Exercises

    • Young children's sensory registers are quite active since birth. They receive the impression of the world around them through their senses. Sensorial exercises enable the children to gradually build up their ability for abstract thinking

  • Language

    • Montessori highly believes in phonetic learning. Children are exposed to the letters through the letter sounds moving up to building and reading words

  • Mathematics

    • Young children think in concrete terms. The use of hands-on and visual Montessori mathematics materials makes it fun, interesting and effective for young children to learn mathematical concepts from the basic to the advanced level

  • Cultural Arts Exercises

    • Young children are exposed to the basic concepts on biology, history, and geography

individualized approach

  • Individualized Instruction

    • Currently with the Montessori Time, the children are individually assigned to a teacher for their Chinese Writing and Reinforcement activities, supplementary workbook drills, and computer intervention program. Through the one-on-one teaching method, the teachers get to know the strengths and weaknesses of each child and thereby, enable them to design the program for each individual child
